THE LAST MATCH

For Reinier and Yosvani, two teenagers looking for life in Havana, "the game" means football. But this word also refers to more serious games that these characters must practice to survive. Reinier lives with his teenage wife and a baby in her grandmother's knife, so the economic needs (and the fondness for bets and branded clothes) lead him almost every night to the Malecon, the legendary wall against the Sea where tourists look for fresh meat. Yosvani is his best friend's and depends on his girlfriend's father to give him a roof to sleep under.
