CLANDESTINE

SYNOPSIS
Xabi has spent his childhood and adolescence in reformatories since he was abandoned as a child. He occasionally manages to escape.

During such an escape he meets Iñaki, a mid-age ETA terrorist who becomes his teacher, his mentor. Now Xabi is locked up again, this time in a high security correctional facility for throwing a gasoline bottle to a policeman in a street raid and nearly burning him to death. Xabi manages to escape, together with mate Joel a young Mexican live wire and Driss a Moroccan who is waiting to be deported. All three of them head for Madrid in search for Iñaki, and Xabi has hopes of joining the terrorist group ETA. But Iñaki is missing. Xabi decides to hold on to his dream. Together with his friends, he launches a bomb attack in the very heart of Madrid to prove Iñaki and ETA that he is worthy to join the band. Nevertheless, Xabi hides under the mask of ideological fanaticism a personal aim that clashes with the harsh reality of a terror organization…
