THE LAND OF AMIRA
SINOPSIS
Justino (70) is a widower who lives isolated from the world on a large and solitary farm where he only cultivates a small vegetable garden. Amira (18) is one of the many illegal Moroccan seasonal workers who seek a better future in Spain. One night, when Justino goes down to the village to sell his tomatoes, he accidentally runs her over. The injuries are not serious, but she loses all possibility of working, so he offers her his house until she recovers. She accepts out of pure necessity, with the risk that entails facing two antagonistic worlds, abyssed by age, sex, culture or religion.
